I wore this on Saturday May 29th to be about in Manhattan.My sister's job(MAC store in Times Square) was having some sort of event with models and this big board where I signed my name.So she made an appointment for my friend and I to get our make-up done at 8:30 pm.We arrived at down town around 5pm and explored everything!NBC store,Crumbs Bakery,Bryant Park,American Girl Place,Hershey & M&M store,Rockefeller Center.So much in one day,I felt like a tourist!

    I wore this to school on Wednesday May 26th.Ugh today was very depressing,it was the last day of acting class.Two of the guys were singing and playing their guitars,then they performed a duet and sang a song they wrote based on the play we performed.At the end when we "passed the pulse" one of my teaching artists cried,which just made me cry.Its really sad we're only going to get 1 of our 3 amazing teaching artists back in the fall.A bunch of us were crying ;(
    It was crazy hot today,I would have been so many more photos but I was all sweaty and in dire need of a shower.

                  On Monday May 24th my French class had a trip to the French restaurant Le Sans Coulettes in Midtown Manhattan.The food was OKAY,I had chicken with taragon sauce and for dessert flan.As entrees there were fruits and long yummy sausages and salamis with bread on the table,and during lunch they had big bowls of french fries :)I bought this skirt about a month and a half ago and haven’t worn it.Originally I was going to wear the skirt without tights and wedges but it was raining :/

     I wore this to school on Friday May 21st,it was in the 80s today,super hot!I still can't believe my mom allowed me to wear these shorts to school,she says I need to wear respectful clothes to school.Whatever as long as I carry myself like a lady,I'm fine.I was going to go dress looking,but it was way to hot.

     I played a mom named Audrey in the play my theater workshop created.We performed at Baruch College on Wednesday night.These are some backstage photos in the Green Room and dressing room.The 2nd photo was taken from a mirror.

     Today was a fun and productive day.I left school at 12 pm to go to a doctor's appointment.When I got home my sister and I watched Platinum Weddings the bride won gold at the '08 Olympics for track.Her dress was gorgeous!Tomorrow I'm going to call some bridal shops to see if I can get an summer job or internship.Then at 4pm my best friend came over and we went to meet up these twins at the park who were watching the baseball game,ran into my other best friend who was with her boyfriend.We were basically walking around and sitting on the grass talking and eating strawberry shortcake ice cream.At around 7 pm we went into some local stores to check out dresses,I didn't find anything that I would wear to Sports Awards :(

Dress Help!

Last year for the annual Sports Awards Dinner I wore this beautiful wrap dress from Forever 21 (Marc Jacobs made a similar one).This year I want something totally different,but it has to be short for me to be able to dance.I've been looking everywhere & haven't found anything WOW!The event is on June 2nd,so I only have 2.5 weeks left!!Please,if anyone has any suggestions for stores or websites,or even dress suggestions that would be helpful.I am not willing to spend more than $40,unless the dress is really WOW!The dress can't be too prom-y,because this isn't prom.I live in NYC,but I can travel upstate or to NJ,if necessary.

     I wore this to my brother's last tennis game on May 7th.It was a lot of fun,after they lost I got to play tennis with my friends and do handstands on the soccer field :)

       I wore this outfit on May 5th and I bought the top & shorts the night before.When I sat down in class my shorts disappeared! haha When I'm standing up straight it is hard to tell that I have shorts under.I can picture myself wearing this top over a bathing suit.Can't wait for summer!
     I really liked how I did my hair this morning,see what happens when I wake up a few minutes earlier!I started off with my usual off center/side part,braided random sections of hair & to enhance my natural curls wet some of my hair.Of course it looked better in the morning,these were taken around 6 pm when I got home from rehearsal.
    I should really start waking up earlier to take my photos in the morning,when my hair & make-up is at its best!

The Invitation

Sorry for my absence but I've been busy with my AP Language & Composition Exam,plus my final paper & my play!But the exam is over,my paper is turned in.Now I just have my final exam on Tuesday & my performance at Baruch College on Wednesday May 19th,2010 at 6:30pm.Please,if you can come out to support my fellow actors and I please do so.This will be my first time performing at a real theater.The open dress rehearsal went great at my school library,I know my final performance will be great.So invite all your friends to watch "The Invitation"!Its free & you'll have a blast!

                I wore this to school on Friday May 14th,2010.Everyone was like why are you wearing so much black,are you going to a funeral or something?I was like seriously why does all black have to be "depressing"?I'm not depressed or in mourning,I'm in fashion!When I walked into my physics class these two girls laughed and said "Can you believe what shes  wearing?" "What the hell is she wearing?"Honestly that just made my day,I love making people laugh,and if I can do that through fashion that's great!haha
